The Memory Market — Book Trailer

About the book and trailer

At a counter in Vesper, a woman sells the last memory of her child calling her Mum. She leaves without remembering his voice. Here, a private past becomes someone else’s property; buy enough memories, and a person can disappear from everyone’s life. The stolen capsule Elias Vale touches contains Lys, the sister he believed dead, and a message about a plan he cannot remember.

With Mara Quill, he follows missing addresses into hidden archives. There, the system bears traces of his own work. Mara’s childhood belongs to somebody else. Meanwhile, promises of relief from painful memories threaten to remove knowledge people need to protect themselves.
